Based in South Osaka, I'm a native Japanese writer and the author of several long-selling business books in the field of marketing.
This site began as a personal response to the many thoughtful questions I’ve received from international friends — questions that made me reflect on aspects of Japanese life I had never stopped to explain before.
Through writing in English, I’ve come to appreciate the unique complexities of everyday Japanese culture, and I enjoy the challenge of translating not just the words, but the deeper meaning behind our customs.
I'm currently studying English with the long-term goal of pursuing graduate studies abroad. Until then, I hope to bridge cultural gaps by sharing what I can from a local perspective.
